Episode summary

Lilly is ecstatic when she gets two tickets to attend a Hannah Montana concert and invites Miley to go with her. Miley refuses, saying that she doesn't like Hannah Montana. Miley's dad, Robbie, tries to convince her to tell Lilly her secret; That she is Hannah Montana. When Lilly does find out what Miley's been hiding, will she be able to treat her the same? Jackson won't take no for an answer when he wants to borrow money for his big date. But his dad keeps refusing to be his personal ATM.

In this pilot episode we see Miley's first dilemma. Her best friend, Lilly, is like Hannah Montana's biggest fan she even got them concert tickets to go together, but of course Miley can't go because she IS Hannah Montana! She doesn't want Lilly to know her secret because it could change the way Lilly sees her forever. Later after her concert Lilly sneaks into Hannah's dressing room! Miley has to pie herself so Lilly won't recognize her, but eventually she figures it out when Miley is wearing the bracelet she gave her. This makes Lilly angry that Miley didn't tell her, but she gets over it when she sees her amazing closet! After a slip of the tongue Miley then gets upset with Lilly for calling her Hannah. Lilly has to go to Miley's house to apologize and they make up promising to keep the secret and to keep it real.

This episode was awesome and a great pilot. I enjoyed the friendship Miley and Lilly have and Miley's weird brother Jackson.

Episode summary

Oliver has a huge crush on Hannah Montana, but his feelings of love are not shared by Miley. No matter what she does, she can't seem to make Oliver realize that he & Hannah can never be, until Lilly comes up with a plan to burst Oliver's love bubble. Jackson is proud to be the owner of a "Brand New" used car that he bought with his own money, but the joy fades once he learns that this particular kind of car is only driven by girls.

After Hannah's performance, she, Lilly, and her dad, all 3 in disguise, jump into the back of a limo, but not before Oliver gets his last word, and lick from Lilly's dog. Miley and Lilly watch Oliver parade around with his unwashed hand, believing Hannah Montana had kissed it. A bully places gum on Oliver's hand and we learn Oliver has severe "Gumphobia." After another Oliver limo encounter, during which Hannah is almost caught as Miley, she says that she has a boyfriend, trying to discourage Oliver into being such a crazed fanatic. Oliver responds by saying "I will wait." Desperate to find a way to stop Oliver from crushing on Hannah Montana, Lilly and Miley remember Oliver's "Gumphobia" and use it to their advantage. Lilly lures Oliver onto the beach where Hannah is. Oliver finds Hannah chewing a huge chunk of gum, but ignores it. Miley, dressed as Hannah, pulls out the licorice gum, turning her teeth black. Feeling as if she's gone over the top, she reveals to Oliver that she is Hannah Montana.

Episode summary

Miley and her friends want to meet Ashton Kutcher at his movie premiere, and Jackson and Cooper want to meet the beautiful girls who want to meet Ashton Kutcher. So both Miley and Jackson decide to disobey their father and sneak out. The super-sneaky siblings get a surprising eye full when they spy their dad at the movie theater on a date. Aah.. love as first sight seems this couldn't have happened.. oh.. it happened. Robby Ray Stewert or whatever the last name is your are the next contest on the 'Lady is Right'. Robbie Ray falls in love.. again. And Miley as a bad girl she always is sneaks and spys on her own father on television!! And as always, all teenagers get in trouble, when they get caught. And if they ain't caught yet, just wait, til the end. Real sad to see how Miley got caught, and Miley and Robbie got in a arguement. But, everything wished away, and they had a conversation.

Episode summary

Miley adores her new beau, Josh, but is unsettled to learn that he despises Hannah Montana. After spending their whole date trying to get Josh to change his mind about Hannah, he decides to attend a Hannah Montana concert, but only if Miley will go with him. Sparks fly when Jackson meets a new girl who actually likes him for himself. Unfortunately, there are even bigger sparks between Jackson & Cooper, once Cooper realizes that Jackson's dream girl is his little sister, Olivia.

Fun and views reviews

The good of the episode is that it has Jackson, Lili, Oliver and Miley in it. Some of the relationships in the subplot would be hard to take if it went on for very long but as they were, the subplot was funny, particularly Jason's performance. The entire concert segment is strained and not that funny. I try not to impose logic on these shows but this one really pushed it that Miley could be in the audience and on stage and in any way pull that off. Anyway, it was an enjoyable episode with cute performances here and there but overall not up to HM standards of quality.

It's Miley's birthday! Robbie is trying to find something special for his little girl. Miley tells Lilly to steer Robbie to the right clothes, but it still doesn't work. Now Miley has to wear this tacky sweater to her birthday party. Meanwhile, Jackson is trying really hard to give Miley a birthday cake and not mess things up (again).

It's Miley's birthday and Robbie is just trying to find that one special gift that he thinks Miley will appreciate. Miley tells Lilly to help Robbie to shop for her gift. They did and found the perfect jacket that Miley wants. But then comes Miley's birthday and Robbie switches the gift with a different one. A tacky cat sweater. Now Miley has to wear the sweater during her beach party and Amber and Ashley are trying to humiliate her by taking pictures and putting it in the yearbook. But in the end, Miley is happy that she got the sweater because she knew that she got it from someone special.

Meanwhile, with Jackson, he tries to buy Miley the perfect birthday cake, but always messes it up. He shoves it in Robbie's face, puts the cake on the table so the pelicans can eat it, and messes up making the cake. But in the end, Cooper makes the cake, but it was still ruined. That cake was a life saver for Miley, though.

Episode summary

Miley, Lilly, and Oliver are just itching to get revenge on bratty Amber & Ashley during a class camping trip, even though Robbie told Miley not to sink to their level. This episode was funny, especially when Amber and Ashley got what they deserved it's just too bad that Miley got poison oak. The move she came up with was funny too Scratch dancing, Scratch dancing it's contagious. It was also funny when Miley chased jackson around the room at the end. Jackson, I think is naturally silly. Good job Miley for getting back at Amber and Ashley, "the queen nasties".Jackson needs to think twice the next time he but 200 traps on the floor without covering his feet first that was just stupid.Use common sense Jackson!!! you knew you weren't going to make that jump duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

Episode summary

Frustrated by Oliver's stage fright, Miley vents to her dad that she doesn't want to help him with their upcoming drama class performance anymore, which a dismayed Oliver accidentally overhears. Miley gets a taste of what Oliver goes through, when Hannah Montana forgets the words to the National Anthem while singing at a televised Laker's game. Jackson's boss pays him to get rid of sugar addict Rico's candy stash after a bad trip to the dentist. He manages to get Rico off the goodies, but Jackson becomes even more addicted to sweets than Rico.

Oliver is having trouble remembering his lines in the school play and Miley forgets the words on national television. Interesting...and unoriginal. The story has been done already. However, it was mildly intersting to see Hannah humiliated and how Miley dealt with it. Of course, there was a moral. I liked Jackson's story in this episode. He was paid to help Rico stop eating candy, but then Jackson started eating candy instead. I love candy so it was interesting to see. Good moral there. Overall, ok episode with an unoriginal story, but they pulled it off; this episode also had some good funny moments.

I think that this was one of my favorite episodes in season 1! It had a great storyline, and i feel that most teenagers can relate to that one episode alot, mostly because it has to do with dating and breaking up and secretly crushing on someone. I think it was great! There may have been a lot of goofs, but that is what makes the episode all the better. I said that this was a flashback episode because I had somebody like me when i was younger and then nobody liked me until 7th grade, but it didnt work out at first. So i knew it was ALOT like this GREAT episode!!!!

Episode summary

TV star Jake Ryan starts to attend classes at Seaview. All of the students & teachers are starstruck (Except for Miley) and cater to his every need. After being mistreated and getting into trouble for the same things that Jake was allowed to do, a frustrated Miley decides to tell everyone that she's Hannah. Will a surprising person convince her to change her mind before it's too late? Stern Robbie lets Jackson take his brand-new convertible out on a date when his car refuses to start, but only after instructing Jackson to not let anything happen to the car. Robbie wishes that he hadn't been so strict, however, when he accidentally damages Jackson's car.

This was one of my favorite episodes,But after watching it again,I think I don't really care for it that much. Jake Ryan was acting like a selfish,abnoxis,self obsorbed jerk! every body was like Awwwwwww,Jake is so cute and let's give Jake whatever he wants. He's totally a bratty boy. and then,Miley almost giving up her secret come on people. this boy's not even worth it. so,this episode was kind of annoying. The teacher and The reporter were totally annoying and jerks. They acted like Jake was a new baby or something. They always wanted pictures and for him to do the line. Boreing.

They could have totally replaced him with a baby.

Episode summary

Miley declines Jake's invitation to the school dance. While Hannah is filming a guest spot on Jake's show, she learns that Jake has feelings for a girl named Miley. She changes her mind about his dance invite, but Miley finds out that he has asked Lilly instead. Jackson and Robbie decide to see who's the better prankster by pulling practical jokes on one another.

Fun and views reviews

I like bits of this episode, and hate other bits. I really did not like the story with Jake and Miley. Miley turned Jake down for the dance, but then Hannah heard that Jake really liked Miley so Miley changed her mind. However, Lilly is now going to the dance with him. I really thought this story was unoriginal. I have seen it done so many times: a guy gets between friends and yadda yadda. The part in this episode I really liked was between Jackson and Robbie. It was funny seeing them play pranks on each other. Overall, ok episode.

Episode summary

Good golly! Miley tells her visiting godmother, Aunt Dolly, all about her crush on Jake. Unfortunately, Aunt Dolly accidentally videotaped her confession and the tape is now in Jake's hands. Aunt Dolly, Miley, and Lilly hatch a plan to get it back before Jake can watch it. Robbie and Jackson find that it's hard to resist Aunt Dolly's attempts to add her "special touch" to every aspect of their lives.

feelings are almost out when miley tells aunt dolly about her crush on jake, and she is taping it... and then the tape is accidentally placed in the hands of jake himself. are miley's feelings for him going to be revealed? and if so, does he share the same feelings for her?

it was good, the way of getting the tape back was pretty fun and clever. i like the frist half more though, the second was kind of boring, that is why my score is somewhat low. Overall, it was a good episode, my grade would be a B-

Episode summary

Miley thinks Jake has a girlfriend so she tries making him jealous. Jackson thinks if his teacher is dating his father this will help him get an A, but is this really a good plan?

It was alright, I didn't really like the ending to either plot that much... Jake leaving for a few months and Robbie and Jackson's teacher splitting up... the rest was OK though, I liked Willis being younger than Miley, and how her plan backfired. Overall, it was a mostly good episode, not great, not bad, but good, my grade is in the "B" range or so
